Cake Board Quality Inspection Checklist
A simple, repeatable inspection protects both the buyer and supplier by making ‘good quality’ measurable.
Final performance must be confirmed against the approved product specification, sample and intended use condition.
Visual and dimensional checks
Verify size, shape, thickness, flatness, colour, surface cleanliness, embossing, print position, edge finish and backing against the approved sample.
Construction checks
Look for delamination, loose wrapping, exposed core, bubbles, cracks, warping and weak corners. Test representative units across more than one carton.
Packing and traceability
Confirm pack quantity, labels, barcode, moisture protection, carton strength, carton markings, batch identification and pallet condition.
